Effective Prayers

 

The bible made it clear that when our Lord, Christ the King started His ministry with prayer when He spent forty days and nights in the wilderness and ended it also with prayer at the garden of Gethsemane and finally asked His Father to forgive His oppressors for they know not what they are doing. It is often very effective when you apply it with faith because it is your faith or belief that takes you through. If you remember the lady with the blood issue, her prayer was ‘if only I can touch the hem of His garment, I shall be made well’, and she did and was well.

It is said that a Christian who prays very little have little power and those that spend much time praying has more power.  Some cannot pray and say when they utter one or two words and that is it while some put in up to two or more hours at a go. Nothing has ever been impossible with prayer and James 1:5-6 says  “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”  The Father does not withhold anything from His children.  He will even teach you how to pray and the most appropriate way you can pray to receive immediate answers.  When making the prayer of requisition, you must try to be serious and walk by faith. Your miracles could be delayed because the law of God which is the  Spirit requires that those serving Him must do so in Spirit and in truth. It is your belief or faith that will take you through.  Before you start praying, believe that everything you are praying has been received. Begin to see those things which be not as they were or as you have them because the Father has given them to you even before the foundation of the world. Take for an example, immediately you begin fasting, you will see that the purpose of the fasting has been achieved in the spirit.  “That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past”. Ecclesiastics 3:15 (KJV). Most of those things which you suffer in the physical came from the spiritual realm.  Nothing can happen in the natural except they come from the spiritual and to tackle those things you must also know how to walk in the spirit.  Walking in the spirit entails having the mind of Christ, believing in His promises and speaking the truth.

“This commandment have I received of my Father”. John 10:18 (KJV). The mind of Christ is that with God all things are possible and considering that God is our Father and if all things are possible with Him they should also be possible with us because we are made in the likeness and the image of the Father.  “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are called the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together”. Romans 8:14-17 (KJV). The essence of these scriptures is to let you know your position with your Father and how you can tailor your prayers to be not only effective but very effective.  We have been given everything which we need to succeed in life because as many of us as received Him and are led by His Spirit are pronounced sons of God like our Lord, Jesus Christ.  When you are purchased with the precious blood of Jesus, you are free from the bondage of fear from the power of the enemies.  You begin to think and speak like Christ and I say I give my life because this commandment have I received of my Father and I have the power to take it back and nobody has the power to take it from me.

Now let us see examples of the mind of Christ and how He reasons.  He does not accept any form of negativity nor speak or utter negative utterances.  When He received the news of the sickness of His friend, brother Lazarus, He declared that the sickness is not unto death and when he eventually died, He said he (brother Lazarus) was sleeping and never mentioned death.  (John 11).  Our Lord came to this planet earth to fulfil a powerful prophecy of reconciling us back to Father and as a result, He had to shed His blood to repurchase us.  As a result, He had to be betrayed by one of His own very close friend and disciple to be punished, humiliated and suffer the shame of crucifixion at the cross at Calvary for me and you.  He allowed Himself to go through that because it is the will of the Father concerning Him at that point in time. “No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it again.

 

Effective Prayer

Prayer for Court and Tribunal Cases

The bible has at no time encouraged us to break the laws of the land neither to do evil to any person but love.  “Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law”. 1 Peter 2:8 (KJV). Matthew 22:35-40 (KJV) “Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like, unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets”.  Every person gets into trouble with or without his fault.  Don’t worry if you get into one, for the Lord will deliver you but do not make it your business getting into problems with the law. Depending on the seriousness of your matter, you can do some fasting to support your request from God.  Psalm 119:154. Says “Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word”. Confession:

  • Have mercy upon me and my family, oh Lord; Plead my cause and deliver me, oh Lord;
  • Do not look at my sins and the sins of my fathers, oh Lord;
  • Quicken me according to Your mercy, in Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

Luke 23:4 says: “Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man”.  Confession:

  • Lord, let them not find any fault in me, and as I live in you and for you, let them not find any fault in me, in the same manner, Pilate could not find any fault in our Lord Jesus.
  • Thank You, Lord, for getting the Lord Jesus to take all my faults and they were crucified on the cross at Calvary. Take all the glory Lord in Jesus’ mighty name, I pray amen.

 

Prayer for Healing

It pleased the Lord to bruise Him and put Him to grief so that we do not go through that again and by His strips all our burdens all taken care of. “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed”.  Isaiah 53:4-5 (KJV). Now with all this in mind, it is time to pray:

  • Thank You Lord for exchange Your righteous life for my sinful one;
  • Thank You Lord for taking away all my infirmities and all my deficiencies;
  • It pleased the Lord to strike, wound, afflict, bruise and chastise you for our peace;
  • Thank You, Lord, for by Your stripes we are healed.
  • Thank You Lord for sanctifying and purifying us with the blood of Jesus our Lord;
  • We pray in the name of Jesus, amen.
  • Glory be to God in the highest!

 

 

Prayer To Take Away burden

Many of us are carrying heavy loads and are weighed down and saddened as a result of this burden.  A burden is a yoke, trouble, affliction, liability or inconvenience or worries that you are carrying about daily.  Burdens are so bad that you cannot sleep at night or carry on with your day to day responsibilities fairly.  It has the power or energy to weigh someone down so as to destroy his family, jobs, business or ministry.  It surfaces in many forms such bereavement, loss of job or business, marital or family problems, poverty, confusion, sickness, problem children, barrenness, singleness, home repossession, bankruptcy, immigration challenges to mention a few, but it does not matter how they surface they are often from the kingdom of darkness and we reject them in the name of JESUS, amen. “It shall come to pass in that day, that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing ”.  Isaiah 10:27 (KJV).  The anointing is the power of God which dwells in you.  “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light”.  Matthew 11:28-30. (KJV).  Your burden has already been taken care of, you need to know this and say this prayer:

  • Lord I have this burden for a while and I am fed up carrying them about;
  • I do not like them or want them, please take them from me and deal with them the way it pleased You;
  • Now I know that all my burdens and yokes has been taken by You and nailed at the cross at Calvary.
  • I reject them and will never ever experience or see them again even my children and children’s children;
  • Let Your glory cover our lives as the water cover the seas. Thank you Lord in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Prayer Against The Witches

“For the Lord, your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God”.  Deuteronomy 4:24 (AV). “As fire consumes the forest, and as the flame sets the mountains ablaze, so pursue and afflict them with Your tempest and terrify them with Your tornado or hurricane” Psalm 83:14-15 (AV). Say this prayer to destroy any evil satellite they have built to monitor and transmit information about you for their evil purposes:

  • Lord, I know that you use winds as your messenger and flames of fire as your minister, send them to go and destroy any evil satellite they are using to transmit information about me;
  • Lord, I know that you are a God of consuming fire; consume those that call my name for evil;
  • Let the Holy Ghost fire consume anything that tends to delay or kill my destiny;
  • Anywhere they call our names for evil, let Holy Ghost fire and thunder answer them;
  • Thank you, Lord, for answering me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

 

Prayer Against The Wicked Powers

 

Know that the wicked, do not have any other work to do but to invoke their evil spirits.  The only way of stopping them is praying without ceasing or not stopping.  It does not matter how much counsels they take, we are more than able for the Lord is with us. “Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.” Isaiah 8:10, (KJV).   Wherever they gather to do their incantations and call our names for evil, it will stand neither will they come to pass.

Let us pray:

  • Lord as they gather together to take counsel against us, let their counsel turn to foolishness.
  • Lord as they gather for evil, let their evil fall upon them.
  • Let them use their evil and wickedness against themselves.
  • Their evil counsel shall not work and shall come to nought.
  • They shall stand neither shall they come to pass in the mighty name of Jesus, we pray.
