Midnight Prayer

Most people are expected to be on bed at midnight.  At this time offices are closed even the factories except those doing night work and road works which are designed to minimize traffic disruption during the day.  At night, darkness takes over from the light and even with the street lights on, drivers are expected to switch on their headlights to be seen and see, otherwise, there will be accidents.  Spiritual midnight can be any time including the day and depending on what you are seeing and how you are looking. It could be when you are getting ready to go to pick up the children from school or while in the office,  knowing that we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places. At this time help becomes scarce and the London Underground will close their stations and the buses will reduce their services. In a cold winter you may wait for up to one hour or more to get a bus and some routes are completely none operational.  Some friends, neighbours and relatives will switch off their telephones and when you call them, you may not reach them and some may hear the ringing and may not pick up because they are having their rest.

Emergency services such as the ambulance, accident and emergency, the police and fire services operate at a minimal level with mostly junior officers.  For your information, many company CEOs and heads of governments are in some cults or the other and they often have their meetings in the night when everywhere is quiet.  This is the time the kingdom of darkness strategize and plan and implement their enterprises through the witches.  It is often difficult for them to fly about in the day because the darkness is their strength.   With your midnight prayers and praises, you can destabilize them and render them ineffective.

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed”.  Acts 16:25-26 (KJV).  At midnight prisoners are not expected to receive friends and relatives on visit but the prayer and praise of brothers Paul and Silas attracted divine visitation and the foundation of the prison was shaken and all the gates, windows, doors and chains fell apart and everyone in the prison walked out free.  Your midnight prayer will make a way not only for yourself and family but for others too.  The heavenly hosts knows what the kingdom of darkness can do at night because their kingdom works more in darkness which is in the night and are there waiting for your praises and prayers to come to your aide.  “Peter, therefore, was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee and follow me. And he went out, and followed him, and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel, but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street, and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter has come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews”. Acts 12:5-11 (KJV).  Please make the following affirmations:

• Oh Lord God of hosts, Thou that dwelleth in the midst of the cherubim give ear to my supplication ;
• Send your Holy Ghost to send an earthquake to shake the foundation of the situations in our lives so that the foundation of every captivities are shaken and all their shackles, chains, padlock, doors, gates are opened, loosed and broken into pieces;
• Shake the foundation of those captivities of my marriage, finance, children, business, ministry, travel, job and etc so that they cannot perform their enterprise any more,
• As these miracles happened to brothers Paul and Silas many people were turned to you including the prison guards, let people come and rejoice in You because of what you have done for us;
• Let our help be miracle like that of brother Peter in detention.

As we pray let our prayer ministers come to the aid of the sick, those in prison, those suffering from diverse afflictions so that they are set free as the prayer of the saints freed brothers Peter from the prison.  Thank You Lord in the Might name of Jesus we pray, amen.
